Love can last a lifetime...
Walking along the beach on Long Boat Key, our family enjoyed the beauty of the Gulf with larger than normal waves resulting from the recent tropical weather. Numerous sea turtle nests, marked off for safekeeping were all along the shore. How strangely awesome is the natural wonder all around us. My husband found a broken sand dollar and Alicia constructed a memorial for us. It will last until the waves wash it away in the next tide, but the love we share...that will last for a lifetime and longer.
~
Love is patient, love is kind. It
does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor
others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no
record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but
rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes,
always perseveres. Love never fails. – 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (paraphrased)
